A little update!

Holy molyyyyy it's been so long since I posted anything on my blog! The beginning of 2015 saw me moviated and inspired to create blog post after blog post (with a fair few of these unfinished ones still in my drafts) but I got out of habit and haven't posted for nine whole months. So I thought my first blog post back would be a reflection of my 2015 New Years resolutions, you can see my original post here.

1) Blog more
So I kept this one up for a couple of months. 2015 has been uber-stressful/busy (for reasons I will definitely blog about when I find the balls) and I'm not quite sure where the year has gone! While this is no excuse to not blog for nine months, I'm going with it.

2) Learn to drive
PROGRESS!!! Although it's been dragged out since January, the end goal is in sight. I had a few lessons in January/February and then life got the better of me, and I didn't have another lesson until May, where again I had about 5 lessons and stopped again until last month. However I passed my theory with flying colours (I'm still amazed) in February and my practical test has been booked. Scary/exciting stuff!

3) Use my time more efficiently
Who am I kidding, I'm always going to be 'Queen Procrastinator'.

4) Be more healthy
While I haven't lost a great deal of weight, I have definitely changed a lot of unhealthy eating habits this year and I'm so happy about that. One step at a time, I guess!

5) Make time for those who matter
If 2015 has reinforced anything in my brain it's that quality over quantity of friends is so so important. Recently I've spent a lot of time with Donna and Zoe, catching up with which direction life has taken us and reminiscing on old times when we were 15 getting pissed with a bottle of Smirnoff Ice in a field in Lacock.

6) Progress within my job
Another resolution completed! I got made a supervisor back in March I think and next week is the start of the management course I'm on through work.

7) 'Just say yes'
Cringey motivational saying, yes, but it also describes my attitude to a lot of things this year that I'm so so proud of. I flew on a plane for the first time since I was 11, not just once but to Edinburgh and back in March, Spain and back in June and then Amsterdam and back in July for my 21st birthday. These trips have been so much fun and I'm now so up for travelling that I can barely remember the massive panic attack I had when on the plane coming back from Edinburgh. Progress made here to and I couldn't be happier about it.

As far as New Years resolutions go, I don't think I did too bad! Did anyone else manage to half-stick to their resolutions or where they out the window within the first week of 2015?
Hope you enjoyed this update post, and I will definitely be blogging much more from now on!
