Hello everybody!
So a couple of weeks ago I headed into Bristol for some retail therapy with Becca and Ella. I was trying (really, really trying) to not spend too much but I couldn't resist a few new makeup and clothes purchases. Here are some of the things I bought!
Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser - £7.99 (Superdrug)
Being a massive fan of Maybelline's baby lips products, I saw this was part of a two for £10 offer and thought I'd try this out too. I tried a tiny little bit under my makeup and saw a massive difference, making my skin look so much clearer! It also does what it says on the tin- making my skin super soft and easy to apply makeup to.
Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude Fluid-Touch Foundation // 30 Sand - £8.99 (Superdrug)
I've been wanting to find a new foundation that I love for a while so I picked this up in the hope that it's a good match! The bottle is quite small but it was part of the two for £10 offer with the baby skin instant pore eraser so I thought £10 for both was pretty good!
No7 Stay Perfect Shade and Define Eyeshadow // Pink Pearl - £8.00 (Boots)
One thing I really want to master is eyeshadow. At the moment, eyeshadow is something that I either under or over apply, making me look like I've done my makeup without looking in the mirror- not a good look! But I saw this in Boots and absolutely loved the colour, it comes out so shimmery on my skin so I picked one up, although I was tempted to get a few more shades!
Make Up Academy Merged Trio Eyeshadow // Legendary - £2.50 (Superdrug)
I saw this compact in Superdrug and fell a little bit in love. Each one has a marble effect, meaning that you get a few different shades in each shadow. I'm excited to give this a bit of use with my Real Techniques Shading Brush.
L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Thickening Shampoo & Conditioner - £1.99 each (Boots)
I'm forever trying new Shampoos and Conditioners to try and get my hair in the best condition possible, and thickening products are normally the ones I go for as my hair is quite thin and weak. I've heard that L'Oreal's range of hair products are reliable and as they were on sale, I thought I'd give them a go! They also have a thickening serum in this range so if I like these products I might try that too.
Black and White floral headband - £1.99 (Urban Outfitters)
Floral prints are one of my favourite things so when I saw this in the UO sale for just £1.99 I picked it up straight away! This has a thin piece of metal running inside the fabric so you can add some shape to the band, also good for keeping it in place. Definitely another summery products but I love it!
Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint // Sugar Apple - £3.99 (Superdrug)
I feel like it's been forever since I used a nail varnish that wasn't black, dark purple, dark red or glittery. Whilst I love autumn/winter shades on my nails, I thought I'd go for something more refreshing and cheerful now that Christmas has come and gone. This is one of my absolute favourite shades to use during the summer so I'm excited to start using this to brighten up my nails a little.
Have any of you had any good shopping trips recently? :)
Hope you enjoyed this mini-haul!
